
Im sure one of the real guru's on here can do a better job of what I have come up with but it should get you started. So, the steps below are for a simple activity report against an entity who has an activity recorded against them. Well, I have not been able to crack it anyway. Reporting on this from say the top level, is not straight forward.

For example if you have several tiers of organisation structure for an Account and each level is an Account in their own right and parent organisation field is populated appropriately, a recorded activity against the lowest level will roll up to the top level.

The product focuses mainly on sales, marketing, and service sectors. You may strike problems if you want to report on the rolled up activities though. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server 2011 is a Customer Relationship Management software package. This should get you started with an activity report.
